Well
here they are, over the next few pages you will see the Hampton Stud
gang, the culmination of our work since 2002 when our otter project began
including rather rare and unusual colours.
We are very proud as we managed to create the Uks first showable blue otters and black otters have a look at our otter pages for updates as we are now also working on chocolate otters and lilac otters.
After learning the hard way about the nightmare that is the modified steel gene which is such a huge problem in the UKs French lop self breeding programmes, we have also started a steel free black self and blue self line which will be very useful for breeders and any extra youngsters are speedily snapped up by our waiting list contacts looking for stunning family pets.
If you are interested in reserving an otter or steel free self or indeed any of the other colours we produce at Hamptons please keep an eye on this site for more litter details, or ring 0741 103 1564 to discuss your rabbit requirements.
Hamptons would like to thank all their fantastic rabbity friends for all the genetic information,
patience, support and advice given over the past few years - watch this space people - we
will do you proud!

Hampton's Hope's Gallery ataBbC-ddE- Blue Otter born 14th June 2010 daughter to Islay Black and Hugo
Hampton's Hope shown here at five months old and shaping up into a lovely solid doe looking a lot like her grandad Remus she is a stunning smokey blue colour and is a very chunky lady this lady will carry lilac and self and possibly REW
|
We are looking forward to using Hope into our lines next spring and are considering which of our lovely bucks to use her to. Hugo the chocolate otter would give us more chance of chocolate and lilacs but Harvey has a chocolate gene and a dilute gene and has a cobbier body and nicer type so its a tough call. Hey I guess we could do both in time!
|
|
Daughter to Georgia and Hugo We hope she will carry dilute and once old enough to use into our line Babs will be test mated for self and will be able to help unravel the enigma of her mother Georgia
