Information for Collection

Here at Hampton Stud and Alexias' Mini Lops we allow our French lop and Mini lop youngsters to be collected around ten weeks old - this is very much dependant on individual development and if we feel that they need a little longer here then they will get a little longer.
We ask that buyers make a note of a suggested collection date and ensure their rabbits are collected promptly, failure to collect on the suggested date will incur a £5.00 per rabbit per week additional charge.
If you have not collected your rabbit within two weeks of the expected leaving date we reserve the right to offer it to another buyer - any deposit paid will be retained.

you will need to bring the following ....
a suitable pet carrier with lid preferably open top, filled with hay and a stick of celery which has been soaked in water overnight
you will need a sturdy carrier as travelling from Hamptons to its new abode is the scariest thing a rabbit will ever have to do - the rabbit may panic and needs to be properly contained - just in case
please don't forget your payment - cash is preferred :)

here are a few transportation modes which we have encountered over the last few years which are not really considered suitable
a towel - "the rabbit will sit happily on a child's knee on the journey home"
a dollies four poster bed - with no sides or lid but curtains instead
the bottom half of a small shoe box lined with a towel (no lid)
a high sided cat litter tray
nothing - "the rabbit will sit on the seat for the journey home"
believe me - the list goes on !
If we do not think your rabbit transportation equipment is suitable, the rabbit will not leave - no matter how far you have travelled
we do not loan our rabbit carriers to buyers as we have done this before and rarely get them back
