Hercules posing |
The Fabulous Hercules Black otter buck carrying self, chin and dilute. Son to Jane Duffy's Little Me. Without this chap none of our breeding line would have been possible. Given to Alexia by Jane Duffy of Cheltenham this superb mini lop set the standard that we now judge all our rabbits by - a truly super rabbit in type and temperament. Sadly Hercules passed away in May 2009 but his progeny continue the work on his behalf. He is sorely missed.

Mini Mable bought in during November 2010 this little lady was used to Mini Melman (right) to introduce her completely unrelated gene pool to the otter line. Her daughter to Melman a black otter doe, was retained and as she then carried chocolate and dilute replaced Mable in the breeding programme. As always this kept in a strong link to the original Hercules gene pool.
